As a nonprofit, our mission is to advance health and wellbeing on the African continent through provision of free-to-access credible knowledge and solutions in health.
To accomplish this mission, we need a diversity of highly motivated and enthusiastic contributors to partner with us as freelance journalists, writers, photographers, videographers and bloggers on volunteer basis with no expectation of recompense.
Writers will be required to submit original articles at will, with a minimum of 1,200 words covering any issues or subject matter in health from an African perspective. This may include case presentations and reviews, descriptions of diseases and conditions common in Africa, human interest stories, letters, health and wellness reports, lay summary of health research publications, disease outbreak news, etc. All images and/or videos submitted with any write up or slideshow must be original or meet the appropriate criteria for royalty-free Creative Commons use and sharing.
Other volunteer opportunities available include serving as Advisors, Sub-editors, Copy editors, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) specialist, Digital Content and Brand specialists, Quality Assurance specialists, Medical reviewers, Webmaster, etc.
